The Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) is the leading national organization representing Myanmar’s Rice Industry, established to promote the development, competitiveness, and sustainability of the rice sector. Serving as a key link between the government, farmers, millers, traders, and exporters, MRF works to ensure food security, enhance rice quality and standards, and expand market access both domestically and internationally. Through policy advocacy, capacity building, and trade facilitation, MRF plays a vital role in driving growth, innovation and sustainability across the entire rice value chain.
Established in 2011-2012 as a non-government, non-profit sharing entity, Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) is the central organization that serves to coordinate, guide, and support national and regional rice associations, networks, and committees formed by private sector stakeholders.
